The Big Storm
This children’s classic is currently out of print, but available in many public libraries. The Big Storm is recommended in A Guide to Canadian Children’s Books and was featured on CBC Radio’s Children’s Literature Panel. In 1994, The Big Storm won the inagural CNIB Tiny Torgi PrintBraille Book Award, Illustrator Maryann Kovalski was also nominated for a Governor General’s Literary Award for Illustration for The Big Storm.
